John Peel Festive 50 1978

John Peel's annual rundown of listeners' fifty favourite tracks of the year, 'The John Peel Festive 50' became a Christmas institution more loved than fairy lights and Christmas crackers.

Listeners of John's Radio 1 show picked the chart by voting for their three favourite tracks of the year before the end of November. The Festive 50 were then played on air.

  1. I just found this place yesterday and I plan on staying around for a while...LOTS of nice stuff. So far the only problem I have found is that this post seems to be missing an RAR file. The 3 parts I have so far are all the exact same size and when I try to open them I get a message that tells me a part is missing. Any ideas?

Thanks for all of the cool stuff especially the Big Black Peel session. It's downloading as I type this.
